Manawatū-Whanganui
region

New Zealand's
North Island
. It
flows
generally
east
from the
Ruahine Range
to
reach
the
Tukipo River
north
of the
township
of
Takapau
.
The Mangatewai River should not be
confused
with its
southern
neighbour
, the
Mangatewainui River
.
