Maniac Productions

Maniac Productions is a television production company, first established in 2009 as Michael Seitzman's Pictures, and rebranded in 2017 to its current moniker Maniac Productions. It was headed by Michael Seitzman.

History

In 2009, Michael Seitzman formed its own company Michael Seitzman's Pictures, and signed an exclusive deal with ABC Studios to develop projects, mainly for broadcast and cable.
After a failed crapload of pilots, the studio successfully picked up its first television series Intelligence, and aired on CBS.
In 2017, after the success of Code Black, the studio made its jump when they took over their duties of Quantico from its creator/producer Joshua Safran.
Later the same year, the studio was rebranded to Maniac Productions and hired CBS employee Christina Davis as head of production. Davis later left to join Starz in 2020.
