Manuela Giugliano


Manuela Giugliano is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Roma in Italy's Serie A and the Italy women's national football team.

Club career

Giugliano played for ACFD Pordenone before joining ASD Torres Calcio in 2014. The following year she signed for ASD Mozzanica.
On 22 September 2016, she signed for AGSM Verona. She joined ACF Brescia in 2017 before moving to Milan the next season.
On 16 July 2019, Giugliano joined Roma.

International career

Giugliano was called up to be part of the Italy U17 for the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, where she played six games and scored three goals. She was called up to be part of the U17 national team for the 2014 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship. She made her senior debut in a 2–1 win against Ukraine on 25 October 2014. She scored her first international goal in a 6–1 win against Georgia on 18 September 2015, scoring in the 23rd minute.
She was included by manager Antonio Cabrini in Italy's squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2017.

Giugliano is openly lesbian.
