Manuela Velasco


Manuela Velasco Díez is a Spanish TV presenter and actress.

Career

Velasco starred in the Spanish horror films REC, REC 2 and . In 2007, she won the Goya Award for Best New Actress for her performance in REC.
In 2005 she hosted Cuatrosfera, by Cuatro. In 2009, she starred in La chica de ayer, by Antena 3, the Spanish version of Life on Mars.
In 2010 she portrayed Eugenia de Molina, the duchess of Monfragüe in Águila Roja, by TVE. In 2011 she appeared in the TV series Ángel o demonio.
In 2012 she played Ainhoa, who falls in love with Luisma in Aída.
In 2013 she played Cristina Otegui in the TV series Velvet, who has fallen in love with Alberto Márquez. In 2014 the second season was released. During the third season, Cristina struggles with marital and personal problems. The fourth and last season was released in 2016.
In 2016 she played in the theatrical adaptation of 'Todo es mentira, homonymous film of 1994, portrayed by Penélope Cruz and Coque Malla.
In 2017 she appeared in the stage play
Bajo terapia'' with Gorka Otxoa, Fele Martínez and Melani Olivares.
