Mone River Forest Reserve

, it is joined by
rivers
draining the
Takamanda Forest Reserve
and the
Cross River National Park
in
neighboring
Nigeria
. These
protected areas
are important habitats for the
critically endangered
Cross River gorilla
.

takes the name of the
Cross River
.
