María Elvira Lacaci
María Elvira Lacaci Morris was a Spanish Galician poet. She was the first woman to win the Premio Adonáis de Poesía.Biography
Lacaci won the Adonais Prize in 1956 for Voz humana and the Premio de la Crítica de poesía castellana in 1964. Her work is framed in post-war social poetry. Other works of the poet are Humana voz, Sonido de Dios y Al este de la ciudad.
She died in her residence in Madrid on 9 March 1997.Style
