Marc Benjamin


Marc Benjamin Latupapua, better known under his stage name Marc Benjamin, is a Dutch DJ and music producer. He is known for his remix work and collaborations with Afrojack, Fedde Le Grand, Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, and Zedd, and his releases on Spinnin' Records, Ultra Records, Size Records, Protocol Recordings, Revealed Recordings, Heldeep and Hexagon Records.
In 2014, he performed at Ministry of Sound London and made his Tomorrowland debut on the second mainstage. Tomorrowland Belgium is marked as one of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world.

Musical career

Coming from a musical family, with his sister also being a DJ, Marc Benjamin has been working with music since a child. The Dutch DJ achieved his first residency at the age of 16 years old, where he gained experience in the European club scene. At the age of 17 years old, Marc Benjamin was performing internationally, across Europe and soon later around the world.
Marc Benjamin's first big release occurred on the 30th of December 2013 when his single "Riser" on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings achieved a top ten slot in Beatport’s top 100 chart. This track gained him international exposure. Amongst other releases, Marc Benjamin signed a record deal with Mixmash Records and collaborated with Laidback Luke, which led to the release of We're Forever. Marc then followed up with three singles on Hardwell's record label Revealed Recordings, "The Center", "Lights Camera Action" and "Galactic". As a result, Marc performed at Ministry of Sound London, followed by a showcase at Tomorrowland, Belgium.
Between 2011 and 2016 Marc Benjamin was the resident DJ for Thursday nights in Amsterdam’s nightclub Escape and is still producing tracks and remixes. Marc was requested twice to remix work of the Grammy Award-winning producer, Zedd, which led to Marc’s remix of Zedd's 2014 single, "Find You" and to Marc's rendition for Zedd and Selena Gomez's "I Want You To Know". Later, Marc joined Zedd's True Colors tour.
In July 2015, Marc Benjamin collaborated with Benny Benassi on "Who I Am" featuring Christian Burns, which was released on Ultra Music. Furthermore, Marc Benjamin teamed up with Laidback Luke to work on their follow up single "Tell Me That You Love Me" which was released on Luke's album Focus. In December 2016, Marc performed at Southeast Asia's largest dance festival, D.W.P. in Indonesia.
In 2017, Marc teamed up with Tomorrowland resident DJ Yves V and released their single "Blow" on Spinnin' Records. Following this, Marc released his single "Thunder" on Steve Angello’s label Size Records. In September 2017, Marc played the closing slot as headliner on the Ultra Music Festival in Bali, Indonesia.
In 2018, Marc released three singles on Nicky Romero's label Protocol Recordings, "Devil In Disguise", "Blaster" and "Unbreakable Hearts" which was used as the official anthem for the DWP Festival 2017 aftermovie. Marc also remixed two of Zedd's 2018 singles, "The Middle" and "Happy Now". Later in 2019, Marc joined Zedd's Orbit Tour.
In 2019, Marc released four singles on Protocol Recordings "Fall For You", "Hooked"., "Show You". and "My Swag". and two singles on Spinnin' Records "Pop N Rewind"& "All The Time".
In 2020, Marc also remixed Zedd & Kehlani's 2019 single, "Good Thing" released on Interscope. and released his single "Wild Bill" on Heldeep Records owned by Oliver Heldens. Following this, Marc released his collaboration with Fedde Le Grand named "To The Top". Also Marc did another remix for Afrojack's single All Night feat. Ally Brooke released on Spinnin' Records and released his single 'Show You Love' on Sam Feldt's label Heartfeldt. After that Marc released his single "Genie In a Bottle" on Don Diablo's Hexagon Records
Marc Benjamin has gained support from Tiesto, Steve Angello, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, David Guetta, Showtek, Zedd, Alan Walker, Avicii, R3hab and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
