Marco Bonitta


Marco Bonitta is a volleyball coach from Italy.

Italian Women's National Team

He took over in March 2001 from Angelo Frigoni as the head coach of the Italian Women's National Team, whom he guided to the silver medal at the 2001 European Championship and to the world title at the 2002 FIVB Women's World Championship. Bonitta was succeeded by Massimo Barbolini in August 2006.
In 2014, Bonitta returned to coach the Italian team. He coached the Italian Women's National Team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Polish Women's National Team

He coached the Polish Women's National Team but resigned after the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing due to poor results.

Club level

He coached Foppapedretti Bergamo women's team to the 1999 championship and Ravenna men's team.
