Marcus Macauley


Marcus Macauley also known as "Marcus Papee Macauley" is Liberian international footballer who plays professionally for the club Al-Ahli SC, primarily as a midfielder. He is also a member of the Liberia national football team. He made his debut for the Lone Star against Zimbabwe and scored his first International Goal for Liberia in September 2013 against Angola at the Tundavala National Stadium in Lubango. at the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification match.

Marcus was born in the capital of Liberia, Monrovia to Mr and Mrs.Macauley.

Early career

;Monrovia Club Breweries
Marcus started his club career with the club Monrovia Club Breweries in early 2011 and played for the Liberian Club for a year before moving to LISCR FC. He than moved to Sweden to play for Swedish Third Division club IF Limhamn Bunkeflo. After one season, he moved to Hungary first league club Kiscmeti Ti.
;Al-Ahli
In July 2014, Marcus sealed a deal with Jordan top flight club Al-Ahli where he helped the club to win the Jordan Cup in the 2015-2016 Jordan Cup season.
