Maria Wimmer - stage actor and film actor from Germany. She was born on January 27, 1911 in Dresden and died on January 4, 1996 in Bühlerhöhe. She was awarded the Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts, the Reinhold-Schneider-Preis, the Bavarian Maximilian Order for Science and Art, the Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
