Marian Borkowski
Marian Borkowski - composer and pianist from Poland. He was born on August 17, 1934 in Pabianice. He graduated from the École pratique des hautes études, the Chopin University of Music, the Paris-Sorbonne University - Paris IV, the Accademia Musicale Chigiana, the Conservatoire de Paris, the Collège de France, the Fontainebleau Schools, the University of Warsaw, the Institute of Musicology at the University of Warsaw. He was awarded the Zasłużony Działacz Kultury, the Medal of the National Education Commission, the Bronze Medal of Merit for National Defence, the Odznaka honorowa „Zasłużony Pracownik Morza”.
