Marie Levasseur


Marie Levasseur is a Canadian soccer forward who plays for FC Metz in the Division 1 Féminine and for the Canada women's national soccer team.

Early life

Born in Quebec City, Quebec, Levasseur began playing soccer at age four.

Playing career

Club career

Levasseur was signed by ONS Oulu in March 2019.

International

Youth national teams

Levasseur has represented Canada on various youth national teams since 2013. In 2013, she helped the U-17 national team win silver at the 2013 CONCACAF Women’s U-17 Championships in Jamaica. She was one of Canada’s top goal-scorers at the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica the following year.

Senior national team

In 2015, Levasseur earned her first cap for the senior national team at the age of 18.

Personal life

She has a twin sister, Catherine Levasseur.
