Hyland was

University of Oxford

Robin Gandy

Martin
Hyland is

category
theory
applied to logic, theoretical
computer science
and
higher-dimensional algebra
. In particular he is known for work on the
effective topos
and on
game semantics
. His former
doctoral students

Eugenia Cheng

Valeria de Paiva
