McBaine, Missouri


McBaine is a village in Boone County, Missouri, United States. It is part of the Columbia, Missouri Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 10 at the 2010 census. The village is the location of Columbia's wastewater treatment plant. McBaine is located just north of Eagle Bluffs Conservation Area.

History

McBaine was laid out in 1899, and named after Turner McBaine, the original owner of the site. A post office called McBaine was established in 1894, and remained in operation until 1958.
