. It was plotted from
Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions
air

taken in 1956 and
1960
, and was named by the
Antarctic Names Committee of Australia
for C.V. McLean, a
senior
diesel mechanic
at
Wilkes Station
in
1963
.
