Mehboob Alam (actor)
Mehboob Alam was a Pakistani actor best known for his role in the epic Pakistan Television Corporation drama serial, Waris. He played the role of Chaudhry Hashmat Khan in that drama serial. He also acted in another popular PTV drama Andhera Ujala.
Mehboob Alam acted in 38 movies, 12 Urdu, 15 Punjabi and 11 Sindhi language movies. Some of his famous movies were Sooarth, Rut Ja Ristha, Dharti La Kunwar and Dharti Dilwaran Jee, Shehzor, films Khak-o-Khoon, Chan Varyam, Fatafat, Khan Balouch and Darya Khan.
He died on 18 March 1994 in Karachi, Pakistan at age 46.
