Merit is a British lifestyle TV channel owned by ITV plc. It launched on 29 July 2020, exclusively on Freeview.Broadcasting
The channel broadcasts three hours daily from 9pm to midnight on the former ITV3+1 Freeview channel slot, with the channel looking to become a full service in the future. It runs no advertisements.
On 28 July 2020, a editor for the site TV Channel Lists noticed Merit was broadcasting after CITV on the unaired/testing channel named "ITVi Stream44" on Astra 28.2°E.Programming
It airs an identical schedule each day, of:
- 9pm: Britain's Best Back Gardens
- 9:25pm: The Hungry Sailors
- 10:15pm: Callie-Anne Cooks into the Wild
- 10:45pm: Britain's Best Back Gardens
- 11:10pm: The Hungry Sailors
