Methanedithiol
Methanedithiol is an organosulfur compound with the formula H2C2. It forms when formaldehyde is treated with hydrogen sulfide under pressure. The reaction competes with formation of trithiane. The compound forms a solid dibenzoate upon treatment with benzoic anhydride.
