Metro Olivos


Olivos is a station on Line 12 of the Mexico City Metro. The station is located between Tezonco and Nopalera. It was opened on 30 October 2012 as a part of the first stretch of Line 12 between Mixcoac and Tláhuac.
The station is located southeast of the city center on Avenida Tlahuac, close to Plaza Tlahuac. It is built above the ground.
The name of the station references the area's reputation for olive oil production during the Colonial period and the icon for the station shows the outline of an olive branch.
