Mexican Protected Natural Resource Areas
Mexico's Protected Natural Resource Areas are 6 federally recognized protected areas in Mexico that are administrated by the federal National Commission of Protected Natural Areas.
They are critical natural resources that are preserved and protected, such as water sources and important forest areas.The six areas are:
- Las Huertas in Colima
- Cuenca Hidrográfica del Río Necaxa in Puebla
- Valle de Bravo, Malacatepec, Tilostoc, and Temascaltepec in Estado de Mexico
- Cuenca Alimentadora del Distrito Nacional de Riego 04 Don Martín, Alamós, and Salado y Mimbres in Coahuila
- Cuenca Alimentadora del Distrito Nacional de Riego 01 Pabellón in Zacatecas y Aguascalientes
- Cuenca Alimentadora del Distrito de Riego 043 Estado de Nayarit, en lo respectivo a las Subcuencas de los Ríos Ameca, Atenguillo, Bolaños, Grande de Santiago Juchipila, Atengo y Tlaltenango in Durango, Jalisco, Nayarit, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas
