Miloska Nott


Miloska Nott, Lady Nott is an Anglo-Slovenian charity fundraiser who set up The Fund For Refugees in Slovenia which organises humanitarian aid, schooling and homes for people who were forced to flee their homes during the Bosnian War. The charity has raised millions of pounds for good causes.

Biography

Miloska was awarded an OBE in 2012 in the Queen's Birthday Honours list for her humanitarian work. Lady Nott was born in Slovenia and her father was interned in Dachau concentration camp for helping the partisans.
She is married to Sir John Nott who was a Minister in the Government of Margaret Thatcher, who was the Patron of the Fund For Refugees charity.
She now resides in central London with her husband. Since the early 1990s she has been organising humanitarian aid, schooling and homes for people who were forced to flee their homes during the Balkan war.

Personal life

Lady Nott has three children with her husband John.
Julian Nott is a film composer, screenwriter and director, best known for writing the scores for the Wallace & Gromit comedy series. Lady Nott's other son, William, works for an international oil company in London and her daughter Sasha is married to the Conservative MP Sir Hugo Swire.
