Minister for Industry, Science and Technology


The Minister for Industry, Science and Technology is a portfolio in the Government of Australia held by Karen Andrews since 28 August 2018.
The portfolio is supported by the Minister for Resources and Northern Australia, currently held by Matt Canavan since 19 July 2016. In the Turnbull Government, there was also an Assistant Minister for Industry, Innovation and Science, held by Craig Laundy between 19 July 2016 until 20 December 2017.
In the Government of Australia, the ministers administer their portfolios through the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. The post was first held by John Latham in 1928 as Minister for Industry.
