Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario


The Minister of State responsible for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario, or simply Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario was the Minister of the Crown in the Canadian Cabinet who also serves as the chief executive of Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario. The post is traditionally held by an MP from Northern Ontario, although occasionally the responsibilities have been accorded to a more senior cabinet minister, such as the Industry Minister.
The current Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario is Navdeep Bains.
