Ministry of Education (Russia)


Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, also called Ministry of Enlightenment of the Russian Federation was established on 17 May 2018 after the split of the Ministry of Education and Science into two parts. It oversees school education and school accreditation in the Russian Federation.
The first minister was Olga Vasilieva; earlier she was a head of the parent ministry. The agency has its headquarters in Tverskoy District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow.
