Minor local entity
In some communities of Spain, minor local entity is a territorial entity of scope smaller than municipality. The term is used in Aragón, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Galicia and Valencian Community. In other places terms of similar purpose are parroquia rural, entidad local autónoma, entidad municipal descentralizada, an junta vecinal.
