Miranda Veringmeier


Miranda Veringmeier is an international cricketer playing for the Netherlands Women's Cricket team. Veringmeier made her ODI debut at the age of 15 against the West Indies. She has played 15 women's One Day Internationals and 6 women's Twenty20 matches. She is a Right hand openings batter and wicketkeeper. Also an occasional medium pace bowler. After finishing high school, Veringmeier spent the 2010/11 season in Perth, Western Australia. She spent the season training and playing for South Perth with varying success. After returning home she was part of the Netherlands squad to go to the Women's World Cup qualifier. Before combining playing cricket with a studying human movement and technology in the Hague. During the 2014 season Miranda got appointed Vice Captain of the Netherlands squad.
In 2015 Miranda was selected to be a part of the i in which she joined up with the Adelaide Strikers.
In May 2019, she was named in Netherlands' squad for the 2019 ICC Women's Qualifier Europe tournament in Spain. In August 2019, she was named in the Dutch squad for the 2019 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament in Scotland.
