Miss India Australia (Raj Suri)
is a national beauty pageant in Australia that annually selects women of Indian origin to compete in Miss India Worldwide. The pageant is the first ever-national competition dedicated to the Indian diaspora. The contest is founded in 2001 by Australian Indian Youth Mentor, Bollywood photographer, film producer, actor .
The winners are selected by a panel of judges from Bollywood though auditions and workshops in Australia by Raj Suri.
The winner of Miss India Australia 2014 title, Swetha Raj was sent to the Miss Asia Pacific Supertalent of the World 2014 pageant in Seoul, South Korea representing India. She eventually became the winner of the title. She became the third woman representing India to win the Miss Asia Pacific World title.
