Miss Malta


Miss Malta is a national beauty pageant in Malta.

History

The Miss Malta contest was established in 1963 by the George and Deggie Gatt Mangion as GM Productions.
In the early years the winner participated in Miss World pageant. Between the years 1968 and 2001 the Miss Malta winners participated in the Miss Universe pageant, returning to the pageant in 2016. Rosalie Theuma was the last Maltese representative in Miss Universe. After this, starting from the year 2013, the Miss Malta winner took part in Miss Intercontinental and managed to make it into the Top 15 semi-finalists in the year 2007 with Jasmin Schellmann.
