Mitch Love


Mitch Love is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman and current head coach of the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League.

Playing career

On September 8, 2010, Love was signed as a free agent by the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. After a single season with the Mudbugs, Love announced his retirement from playing to join the WHL's Everett Silvertips as an assistant coach on August 13, 2011. After seven seasons as an assistant with the Silvertips, Love was hired as the head coach of the Saskatoon Blades for the 2018–19 season.
