Mliba


Mliba is a town geographically located on east central Eswatini, on the South East of Africa. It is located on the MR5 route to the northeast of Manzini, between the towns of Luve and Madlangempisi.The late Chief Malamulela Magagula was the authorised legal subject of the Dvokolwako area, having two royal kraals, eSibukweni and eMvelo.Mliba has a Police station, a Nazarene mission which consists of a primary school and a clinic which stands as a health-care center then a bit further to these Mliba high school.
The people of Mliba practice farming as an old and recognized custom on their yearly activities mainly keeping livestock and planting crops. The place has a wide range of natural resources mainly wild plants and a good scenery to view the whole area from the top of the Mliba mountain which is shaped as a pyramid and believed to be of great importance to the Magagula royalty. This is where all the chiefs which are believed to be kings historically are buried and it is believed that anyone who tempers with their graveyards may face a generational curse which might even affect their whole families at large. The late chief Malamulela and his ancestral parents were buried in this mountain.
Mliba town was founded by the Magagula and as a mornument stands a large marketplace referred to as Lubhaca laMdvuba Mdvuba being a well known king of the Magagula in past historical facts.
Therefore, Mliba is the main town that connects mini towns like Khuphuka and Mnjoli.
