Mohamed Jamaaluddin


Mohamed Jamaaluddin is an important 16th century scholar who settled in Vaadu island in the Huvadu atoll of Maldives after studying abroad.
He is also referred to as Jamal-al-Din Huvadu or as Vaadu Dhanna Kilegefaanu within the Maldives and is known for teaching and advancing other scholars in the region.
Maldivian chronicler Hassan Taj Al-Din references Jamal-al-Din migrated from Hadramawt,Yemen to Maldives.
