Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Cuernavaca


The Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Cuernavaca Campus commonly shortened as Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Cuernavaca or ITESM Campus Cuernavaca, is a campus of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education private university system in Xochitepec, some 13 km to the south of Cuernavaca, Morelos.

Student Council, Cuernavaca Campus

The Student council is the highest representative organ with in the student body. It has the objective of lump together and coordinate the student groups; as well as make stronger academic and co-curricular activities.

History

On August 11, 1980 ITESM started operations in the city of Cuernavaca, Moerlos, Mexico with the goal of offering high school level studies.
In August 2013, the Cuernavaca Campus fulfilled its 33 anniversary by offering high-level academic education in the state of Morelos, Mexico.
Tecnologico de Monterrey is a university system with the primary purpose of create integrity, ethical people, with a humanistic and competitive vision internationally in their field, at the same time be committed to the economic, political, social and cultural development of their community citizens and sustainable use of natural resources.
Today, the Tecnologico de Monterrey has 31 campuses all over the country, with offices in Mexico and Latin America. It has academic exchange agreements with more than 500 international universities, also having several liaison offices in the world to promote the institute.
