Moreton School

Moreton School is a mixed secondary school located one-mile north east of Wolverhampton City Centre. It was originally formed as a boys school, Bushbury Hill School, in 1931 and now accommodates over 700 pupils. It was formerly known as Moreton Community School until 2016 when it converted to academy status by joining Aldersley High School in the Amethyst Academies Trust. It also previously housed the sixth form, however, all sixth form education within the Amethyst Academies Trust now takes place at Aldersley High School. A new sixth form centre will be built on those grounds and is expected to be complete by September 2019 and will open in October of that same year.
