Morgan Deare


Morgan K. Deare is an American actor who works in film, television and theatre and is based in London.

Early life

Deare was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on November 19, 1945. He graduated from Westgate High School in 1964. He studied acting at the London Academy of Dramatic Arts in London.

Career

He began his acting career when he made his screen debut in the 1980 short film The Tumour Principle as a minor character.
He appeared as Hawk in the 1987 serial of Doctor Who, "Delta and the Bannermen". Three decades later, he appeared as Arthur in the eleventh series episode "Rosa".
He appeared as an editor in the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, featuring Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd. He also appeared as Donald Hunt in the critically acclaimed 1996 action spy film ', featuring Tom Cruise and Jon Voight.
His film appearances include Hyde Park on Hudson,
', Scream for Help, United 93 and The Callback Queen. He appeared as Greg in the 2016 comedy film Wild Oats, featuring Demi Moore, Jessica Lange, Shirley MacLaine, And Billy Connolly.
He voiced Mayor Martinez in the animated series , which lasted for 26 episodes. His television appearances include Deep State, The Bill, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, Coronation Street, Jeeves and Wooster and Wing and a Prayer.

Personal life

Deare is married to English actress Mary Healey. He currently resides in London.
