As of the census of 2010, there were 1,129 people, 463 households, and 299 families living in the town. The population density was. There were 526 housing units at an average density of. The racial makeup of the town was 99.1% White, 0.1% African American, 0.1% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.2% from other races, and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.2% of the population. There were 463 households of which 30.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.7% were married couplesliving together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 35.4% were non-families. 29.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.44 and the average family size was 2.97. The median age in the town was 40.5 years. 23.3% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.4% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 24.5% were from 25 to 44; 26.6% were from 45 to 64; and 18.2% were 65 years of age or older. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.86% of the populations. There were 469 households out of which 27.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.7% were married couples living together, 9.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 36.7% were non-families. 31.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 3.04. In the town, the population was spread out with 24.3% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 22.0% from 45 to 64, and 17.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
