Mount Baldy (Nevada)

Mount Baldy is located in Washoe County, Nevada in the Mount Rose Wilderness. The summit is at 9272', and it is north-northwest of Kings Beach, California and northwest of Incline Village, Nevada, both of which are on the north shore of Lake Tahoe.
The highest point in Placer County, California is called Mount Baldy West Rim. It is on Mount Baldy's west ridge at 9044+ ft and about west-southwest of the summit of the ridge, which is called Mount Baldy in Washoe County of Nevada, at 9272 feet. So, Mount Baldy West Rim is right at the interstate border in Placer County, and Mount Baldy is in Washoe County in Nevada, and Mount Baldy is merely 0.3 miles from CA-Nevada border. To make things more confusing, Mount San Antonio, the highest point in Los Angeles County in California, is called Mount Baldy locally in that county.
