Antarctica
. It was
discovered
by the
Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition
, 1947–48, under
Finn Ronne
, who named it for
Bernard Horne
of
Pittsburgh
, who furnished wind-proofs and other
clothing
for the
expedition
.
