. It is one of
four peaks
that
surround
Pioneer Basin
, northwest of
Mount Crocker
,
northeast
of
Mount Hopkins
, and
south-southwest
of
Mount Stanford
. The mountain was named for
Collis Potter Huntington
, one of the
builders
of the
Central Pacific Railroad
.
