Beardmore Glacier

Mount Saunders
. It was
discovered
by the
British Antarctic Expedition
and named for
Sir
James Mills
who, with
the government
of
New Zealand
,
paid
the cost of
towing
the
expedition ship
Nimrod
to Antarctica in
1908
.
