Gair
and
Meander
Glaciers
, in
Victoria Land
,
Antarctica
. The feature has at times been
mistaken
for
Mount Murchison
. Named by the
northern party
of
New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition
, 1962–63, because of its
prominent
and
lofty
appearance
.
