Nawab Mir Khudrath Nawaz Jung Bahadur


Nawab Mir Khudrath Nawaz Jung Bahadur He was the youngest son of Nawab Mir Jahanghir Ali Khan Bahadur who was the son of Nawab Roshan-ud-Daulah, the younger brother of The V Nizam of Hyderabad Afzal-ud-Daulah of the Asaf Jahi family of Hyderabad state. His elder sister Sahebzadi Azmath unnisa Begum was the first legally wedded wife of the 7th Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan in the year 1920. He was the first brother-in-law of Nizam VII Mir Osman Ali Khan. and the Maternal uncle of Azam Jah, Moazzam Jah, and Shehzadi Pasha. He held many prestigious official positions in the Nizam's Darbar, Army and Administration Offices.

Biography

Mir Khudrath Nawaz Jung was the grandson of Nawab Roshan-ud-Daulah who was the youngest son of Nasir-ud-Daulah, Asif Jah IV. His education was given privately by the prominent English teachers, professors and by Moallim-e-Urdu and Farsi and since his early childhood he was the most favorite student of his teachers. He was given Military training to learn various arts and technique of Military Officers in command to serve the Nizam's Army Forces. He was an excellent poet in Farsi and was very fond of playing Shikaar. His collections of weapons had Holland & Holland, Bellona Arsenal, Noble Bros. & Co.

Family

Mir Khudrath Nawaz Jung have married five noble women of respectable Muslim families of Hyderabad state from whom he have fourteen children. Being a close family member of the 7th Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan he shared a special bonding with him.
