Netlist (company)


Netlist Inc. is a multinational company headquartered in Irvine, California that designs and manufactures board level memory products used in information technology equipment including memory DRAM module and Solid State Disk drives. The company primarily markets and sells memory products to original equipment manufacturer customers. Netlist has more than 80 employees and an annual revenue of US$ 32.0 million as of 2017. The stock was added to NASDAQ in late 2006. In the initial public offering of its common stock in 2006, Netlist sold 6,250,000 shares at $7.00 each.. On September 26, 2018, Netlist announced they were moving from NASDAQ to OTCQX.
As of 2019, Netlist was reportedly in favorable claim for patents infringed upon by South Korean Company, SK Hynix. The company, founded by former LG Corporation employee Hong Chun-ki in 2000, has been under a license contract with Samsung Electronics since 2015.
