New Hampshire's 1st congressional district


New Hampshire's 1st congressional district covers the southeastern part of New Hampshire. The district consists of three general areas: Greater Manchester, the Seacoast and the Lakes Region.
It is represented in the United States House of Representatives by Democrat Chris Pappas.
Politically, the 1st district is one of the most competitive congressional districts in the country, with a Cook Partisan Voting Index of R+2., the district has changed hands in six of the last seven elections, with an incumbent losing re-election in five instances.
