Nick Pratto


Nicholas Michael Pratto is an American professional baseball first baseman in the Kansas City Royals organization.

Career

Pratto hit a single for Huntington Beach in the 2011 Little League World Series championship game against Japan.
Pratto attended Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California his first two years of high school before transferring to Huntington Beach High School in Huntington Beach, California. In 2015, he played for Team USA at the 18U Baseball World Cup.
Pratto was considered one of the top prospects for the 2017 Major League Baseball draft. He was committed to the University of Southern California to play college baseball. He was teammates with Hagen Danner, who was also a top prospect for the 2017 draft. The Kansas City Royals selected Pratto with the 14th overall pick in the draft. He signed and was assigned to the AZL Royals where he spent the 2017 season, posting a.247 batting average with four home runs, 34 RBIs and ten stolen bases in 52 games. He spent 2018 with the Lexington Legends, batting.280/.343/.443 with 14 home runs, 62 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases in 127 games.
Pratto spent 2019 with the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Over 124 games, he slashed.191/.278/.310 with nine home runs and 46 RBIs.
