Niels Birbaumer


Niels Birbaumer - psychologist and university teacher from Austria. He was born on May 11, 1945 in Zátoň. He graduated from the University of Vienna. He was awarded the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, the Eva Luise Köhler Research Prize, the honorary doctor of the University of Madrid Complutense, the Helmholtz Medal, the German Psychology Award, the Aristotele Prize, the honorary doctorate of Salzburg University, the Honorary doctor of the University of Vienna, the Wilhelm Wundt Medal.
