Niggly Cave, Tasmania


Niggly Cave, Tasmania is one of the deepest caves in Australia.
Part of the Junee Florentine Valley Caves Complex near Mt Field National Park, it is at 390m a candidate for the deepest Cave in Australia. Niggly Cave is located on the Junee River, in the Junee Cave State Reserve, adjacent to the Mount Field National Park in Tasmania, Australia. The nearest town is Maydena. The estimated terrain elevation above sea level is 456 metres and the local geology is permo-Triassic sediment. The area is covered with thick Sclerophyll forest.
