Nikolai Maikov
Nikolai Maikov - military officer and aircraft pilot from Russia. He was born on April 30, 1918 in Yaroslavl and died on March 13, 2005 in Zhukovsky. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War 1st class, the Order of Alexander Nevsky, the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, the Medal "For the Capture of Königsberg", the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner, the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad".
