Nikolay Kazakov
Nikolay Kazakov - Soviet writer and poet (1918-1989). He was born on January 15, 1918 and died on February 12, 1989 in Yoshkar-Ola. He graduated from the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. He was awarded the Medal "For Labour Valour", the Jubilee Medal "In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin", the Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, the Order of the Patriotic War, the Order of the Badge of Honour, the Medal "For the Defence of Moscow", the Honorary Diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945", the Stalin Prize, the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
