Nino Haratischwili is a Georgian novelist, playwright, and theater director, living and working in Hamburg, Germany and writing in German. She has received numerous awards, including the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize, the Kranichsteiner Literaturpreis, and the Literaturpreis des Kulturkreises der deutschen Wirtschaft.
