. They include the
ancient
Ge’ez
language
which is now
extinct
, but remains in use as a
liturgical language
in the
Eritrean
and
Ethiopian Orthodox Churches
.
Harari
, although being a
South
Ethiopic language
, has several
features
in common with
North Ethiopic
.
